HappySmurf operates as a curated catalogue and third-party referral service. This Privacy Policy explains the very limited information we collect and how it is handled.
1. What We Do NOT Collect
Because the Service is a catalogue and not a retailer, the following do not happen on this website:
- No user accounts. We do not offer registration or sign-up.
- No shopping cart, no checkout, no payment processing.
- No card numbers, billing addresses, or payment details ever pass through this site.
- No mailing list sign-ups or marketing-email collection.
- No order histories, order forms, or purchase data stored by us.
All purchases happen on an external third-party platform (the “Fulfilment Platform”), under that platform's own privacy policy and terms of service. Information you provide there is governed entirely by their policy, not ours.
2. What We Do Collect
The Service is intentionally lightweight. The information we collect is limited to the following:
- Standard server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records non-personal request data - browser type, referring page, timestamp, and IP address - for security, abuse prevention, and basic traffic analysis. Logs are retained for a limited period and then discarded.
- Cookies and analytics. We may set a small number of cookies for basic site functionality and aggregate usage measurement. You can disable cookies via your browser settings; the Service will continue to function.
- E-mails you choose to send us. If you contact support@happysmurf.com or use our contact page, we receive your e-mail address and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and retain it only as long as necessary for that purpose.
3. Payments & Third-Party Platform
All payments and transactions occur on the Fulfilment Platform. HappySmurf does not see, store, transmit, or process payment information at any point. Card data, wallet data, and billing details are handled exclusively by the Fulfilment Platform and its underlying payment processors (such as Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Skrill, and cryptocurrency processors), each under their own privacy policies.
4. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may disclose information only:
- To respond to a subpoena, court order, or other lawful governmental request.
- Where we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights or the rights of third parties.
- To trusted service providers (such as our hosting provider) strictly to operate the Service, under confidentiality obligations.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with comparable privacy laws, you have the following rights regarding any personal data we hold (in practice, this is typically limited to the contents of any e-mails you have sent us):

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The minimum age for using the Service is 18 (see our Terms & Conditions for eligibility requirements).
8. International Transfers
Our hosting provider may store server logs in countries other than the one in which you are resident. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect the limited information we hold from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
