Urf the Manatee

Picked up Urf the Manatee from a mystery chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much from this ancient April Fools skin. After around 40 games though, this thing completely changed how I feel about playing Warwick.

The Q feels weirdly smoother than base skin, probably because the spatula swing animation is cleaner than his normal bite. Your W blood trail turns into this goofy fish trail that's actually easier to track in teamfights when everything gets chaotic. But the real game changer is the ult animation where you literally surf on the manatee. During a baron fight yesterday, I ulted their fed Jinx and my whole team started laughing so hard in voice that we almost threw the fight. The enemy team was typing "wtf is that" in all chat while I'm just chomping people with a golden spatula. Compared to other Warwick skins like Project or Hyena, this one trades intimidation factor for pure tilt potential.

Is Urf the Manatee worth it? If you're looking for a serious competitive edge, stick with Project for the clearer hitbox indicators. This skin is purely cosmetic fun that'll make both teams int from laughing. The recall where you flop around like an actual manatee is cringe but good, and hearing "URF URF URF" instead of wolf howls never gets old. My experience with Urf the Manatee convinced me that sometimes the best skins aren't the flashiest ones but the ones that make the game genuinely fun again.

For Warwick mains who take themselves too seriously, maybe pass. Everyone else should grab this whenever it shows up in Your Shop or mystery gifts.
