Saved my RP for months and finally grabbed Trick or Treat Ekko during the Halloween event, and after 90 games I'm convinced this is the smoothest Ekko skin for climbing. The Q animation feels way more responsive than base skin, especially when you're trying to last hit under tower pressure. Been maining Ekko since season 8 and this skin just hits different compared to other Ekko skins I own.

The W placement is probably the biggest game changer here. That pumpkin visual is so much clearer than PROJECT's hologram mess, making it easier to bait enemies into bad trades. Just yesterday I was getting dove by a fed Zed and the W clarity let me time the stun perfectly while his shadow was still up. The ult trail with those Halloween particles actually makes it harder for enemies to track your clone direction too. But what really sold me is how the E dash cancel feels cleaner, letting you animation cancel into passive procs way faster than True Damage does.

Is Trick or Treat Ekko worth it? For 1350 RP it's definitely not pay to win, but the visual clarity gives you a slight edge in teamfights around dragon pit where everything gets chaotic. My experience with Trick or Treat Ekko shows it's the perfect middle ground between flashy and functional. The recall animation with him carving the pumpkin is just icing on the cake. If you're an Ekko main looking for a skin that won't tilt you with clunky animations, this one's worth picking up next Halloween. True Damage might have better sound effects, but Trick or Treat wins on pure gameplay feel.
