Tahm Kench

Been spamming this champ for about 55 games now after getting Coin Emperor Tahm Kench from a chest, and honestly this skin hits different than I expected. The whole golden aesthetic makes you feel like a fed boss walking around the rift, and compared to other Tahm Kench skins this one probably has the smoothest animations overall.

The Q tongue lash feels way more responsive than base skin, especially when you're trying to hit those max range pokes in lane. His W devour animation is insanely clean too, making it easier to time your saves or executes on enemies. But what really sells it for me is the ult channel, you can see the golden portal forming much clearer which helps both you and your team understand when to commit. Had a dragon fight yesterday where my ADC actually followed up perfectly because the golden portal was so obvious compared to the murky base version. The E shield has this satisfying golden shimmer that makes it super clear when you're about to pop it for the heal.

Compared to Arcana Tahm which I used before, Coin Emperor just feels less clunky overall. The walk animation doesn't have that weird waddle, and ability cancels feel instant. Is Tahm Kench worth it? For an 880 RP skin you're getting epic tier quality animations and clarity. Not quite pay to win but definitely gives you that confidence boost when you're trying to make plays. My experience with Tahm Kench skins puts this one at the top, even beating out the more expensive options. If you're a support main who plays the catfish regularly, this is absolutely worth grabbing next time it shows up in your shop.
