Sweetheart Sona

After 55 games with Sweetheart Sona, I'm genuinely surprised how much this skin changes her feel compared to other Sona skins I own. Got it from a chest last month and wasn't expecting much since I usually run DJ Sona, but this one's become my go-to for ranked games.

The Q pokes feel way smoother to land with those heart particles making the range clearer than base skin. Her W aura is probably the biggest improvement though, with that pink glow making it obvious who's getting the shield in teamfights. But what really sold me was a dragon fight where I could actually track my passive stacks perfectly thanks to the heart counter being more visible than DJ Sona's tiny icons. Managed to get the perfect stun off on their fed Yasuo because I knew exactly when my third stack was ready. The ult animation feels faster too, though that might just be the cleaner visual making it seem that way.

Compared to Arcade Sona which I mained before, Sweetheart actually gives better clarity without being as loud visually. The recall animation's cute but nothing special, and the sounds aren't as satisfying as DJ Sona's music switches. Is Sweetheart Sona worth it if you're buying with RP? At 975 RP it's not the cheapest, but for Sona mains who want something between base skin and the expensive ultimate, it's solid.

This isn't pay-to-win but the visual clarity definitely helps in clutch moments. My experience with Sweetheart Sona convinced me that sometimes the simpler skins work better for climbing. Would recommend for anyone who plays her regularly but doesn't want to drop ultimate skin prices.
