Star Guardian Poppy

Bought this skin after seeing Keria absolutely demolish on it during Worlds and honestly, it's become my go-to Poppy skin after 80 games. The magical girl aesthetic might seem cringe but good when you're stunning people into walls, but there's something about the sparkly animations that makes everything feel more responsive compared to other Poppy skins.

The Q feels way smoother to land, probably because the star effects make the hitbox clearer than base skin or even Battle Regalia. Her W shield has this satisfying bubble pop sound that makes timing it against dashes easier, and the ult charge animation is insane with the constellation forming around her hammer. I remember this one dragon fight where their fed Katarina tried to jump our ADC, and the W visual was so clear that I could perfectly time the denial. She tilted in all chat about "pay to win skins" but honestly it's just better visibility. The E wall stun has this sparkle explosion that makes it super obvious when you land it, which helps your team follow up faster.

Compared to Hextech Poppy which I mained before, Star Guardian actually feels less clunky during combos. The auto attack animations flow better into Q, making CS easier in lane. Is Star Guardian Poppy worth it at 1350 RP? If you're a Poppy main who plays her regularly, absolutely. The skin isn't pay-to-win but the cleaner animations definitely help with mechanical consistency.

My experience with Star Guardian Poppy convinced me to stick with it over my other seven Poppy skins. And considering how much smoother the gameplay feels, I'd recommend grabbing it next time it's in your shop if you play her more than occasionally.
