SSG Rakan

Been spamming SSG Rakan for about 50 games now and honestly, this skin hits different compared to other Rakan skins. The white and blue color scheme actually makes my engages feel cleaner somehow, and I swear the W animation feels more responsive than base or even Cosmic Dawn. Something about the way the feathers spread during Grand Entrance just flows better, especially when you're trying to chain it with flash for those surprise bot lane trades.

The ult is where SSG Rakan really shines though. That blue trail effect makes it super obvious where you've been, which sounds bad but actually helps your team follow up way better. Had this insane dragon fight yesterday where I ulted through their whole team and my Yasuo could perfectly track who got charmed just from the trail visibility alone. We ended up acing them and taking soul. The E dash to allies feels snappier too, probably because the shield visual is less cluttered than something like IG Rakan with all its golden effects.

Is SSG Rakan worth it? For an exclusive skin, absolutely. The recall animation where he does the victory pose is clean, and the whole World Champions 2017 vibe gives it this competitive feel that just makes you want to pop off. It's purely cosmetic, not pay-to-win or anything, but the cleaner animations definitely help with timing your combos.

My experience with SSG Rakan convinced me it's his best skin for ranked. If you main support and want something that looks good without being distracting, this is it. Way better value than the newer flashy skins that just tilt you with particle overload.
