Space Groove Ornn completely changed my perspective on what a skin can do for your gameplay feel. After around 50 games with it, I'm convinced this is the smoothest Ornn experience you can get, even if the disco theme seemed cringe at first.
The Q feels way more responsive compared to base Ornn or even Thunder Lord. Something about the animation makes it easier to time your brittle procs, and the visual clarity on the pillar is insane when you're trying to CS under tower pressure. His W breath attack has this groovy purple flame that's actually easier to track in teamfights, which matters when you're trying to pop off with those clutch brittle combos. But the real game changer is the ult. The disco ram is not only hilarious but the sound cue is so distinct that I've noticed teammates react faster to my engages. During a baron fight yesterday, I caught their fed ADC with a max range R2 redirect that I probably would've mistimed on base skin.
Compared to other Ornn skins like Elderwood, Space Groove just feels less clunky overall. The auto attack animation is butter smooth, making those early trades way more consistent. Is Space Groove Ornn worth it though? For 1350 RP, you're getting what feels like a competitive advantage disguised as a meme skin. It's purely cosmetic technically, but the cleaner animations genuinely help with timing.
My experience with Space Groove Ornn convinced me to main the champion again. If you're an Ornn player who values smooth gameplay over serious aesthetics, this skin is absolutely worth grabbing. The clarity improvements alone make it the best option for climbing.
