Snowstorm Sivir

Snowstorm Sivir was my reward after hitting Gold this season, and after 55 games with it, I can see why it's become such a popular pick in my elo. The skin completely transforms how Sivir feels in teamfights, especially when you're trying to track your boomerang through all the chaos.

The Q animation stands out way more than base Sivir with that icy blue trail that's impossible to miss. But what really sold me was how the W bounce feels more responsive, like each ricochet has this satisfying crystalline sound that helps me count my bounces during lane trades. Yesterday I was fighting for dragon control and popped my ult right as their jungler engaged, and the frosty speed trail made it super easy for my team to follow up while I could still track enemy positions through the particle effects. Pizza Delivery Sivir might be the meme favorite, but Snowstorm actually gives you cleaner animations when you're trying to auto cancel properly. The spell shield is probably the biggest difference though, that ice barrier effect is way more visible than the base purple bubble when you're getting dove under tower.

Is Snowstorm Sivir worth it? For 975 RP it's definitely one of the better value skins in her collection. Compared to other Sivir skins like Warden or Blood Moon, this one feels less clunky when you're CSing under pressure. It's purely cosmetic, no pay to win advantages, but the visual clarity alone makes it worth considering if you're planning to main her. And if you catch it during the Winter Wonder event, even better. My experience with Snowstorm Sivir convinced me to keep her in my ranked rotation, something I wasn't expecting when I first unlocked it.
