SKT T1 Elise

Picked up SKT T1 Elise from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Blood Moon. After about 40 games though, this skin completely changed my mind about what a good esports skin can be.

The spider form Q feels way more responsive than base Elise, and I swear the animation cancel on human W is cleaner. Maybe it's just me, but landing cocoons feels smoother too. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to rappel dodge a Lux ult and immediately land on their ADC, and something about the rappel animation on this skin makes timing it easier. Blood Moon might look cooler with all the effects, but SKT T1 Elise actually helps my gameplay. The spider form is less cluttered visually, which sounds boring but when you're trying to track your spiderlings in a teamfight while the enemy Yasuo is going crazy, you appreciate the clarity.

Is SKT T1 Elise worth it compared to other Elise skins? If you're looking for flashy particles and crazy recall animations, probably not. But if you want something that won't tilt you with visual noise and actually feels good to play, this is it. The gold and red color scheme grew on me too, especially since it stands out without being obnoxious like some of the newer skins.

For anyone who mains Elise or plays her regularly in ranked, I'd say grab it if you see it in Your Shop or get lucky with a chest. It's purely cosmetic advantage wise, but sometimes that cleaner feel is all you need to pop off and make the enemy jungler ff at 15.
