Picked up SKT T1 Ekko from a chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm usually running PROJECT or True Damage. After about 50 games though, this skin's grown on me in ways I didn't anticipate. The red and gold color scheme might look basic in splash art, but in game it's actually crisp and clean, especially when you're trying to track your clone in messy teamfights.

The Q feels way smoother compared to base Ekko, and I swear the animation cancel on W is cleaner. But what really sold me was during a baron fight where I needed to ult perfectly between their fed Jinx and support. The golden trail from my ult is probably the clearest visual indicator across all his skins, making it super easy to track where you'll snap back to. True Damage might have better sound effects, but SKT T1 Ekko wins on clarity every time. The E dash has this subtle red particle that makes wall hops feel more responsive too.

Is SKT T1 Ekko worth it if you're buying with RP? At 1350 it's not the flashiest option, but for competitive play it's lowkey pay to win with how clear the animations are. My experience with SKT T1 Ekko compared to other Ekko skins is that it sacrifices style for function. The recall animation where he holds the trophy is pretty cringe but good for tilting enemies after you pop off.

If you're an Ekko main who values clean gameplay over aesthetics, this skin's definitely worth considering. Not essential, but it's become my go to for ranked games where every frame counts.
