Shockblade Qiyana

Tempestuous as the Storm itself, Qiyana braved the Cloud Ritual despite warnings that no one had survived in years. Perhaps it was her display of stubborn courage the Storm found worthy, or something else; either way, she is now Shen's student, determined to master lightning the same way she mastered the other elements.

Shockblade Qiyana completely changed how I approach teamfights after picking it up from a mystery chest last month. Been spamming her for about 50 games now and honestly wasn't expecting much from a skin I got for free, but this thing's actually insane for tracking your combos.

The W feels so much cleaner animation wise compared to True Damage, especially when you're grabbing elements quickly in river skirmishes. Her Q projectile has this electric trail that makes it way easier to track in chaotic fights, and I swear the ult indicator is more visible than base. During a baron fight yesterday, I could perfectly see my ult line through all the spell effects while their fed Vex was trying to zone us. That clarity probably won me the game since I caught three people against the wall. Battle Queen might have flashier effects but Shockblade's visual clarity is unmatched when you're trying to pop off in messy 5v5s.

Compared to other Qiyana skins, this one sits in a weird spot. It's not as smooth as Prestige True Damage but definitely less clunky than base. The recall animation's nothing special and the sound effects are kinda meh, but the in combat visuals make up for it. Is Shockblade Qiyana worth it if you're buying? Maybe not at 1350 RP when True Damage exists, but if you main her and want something different that won't tilt you with unclear animations, it's solid.

My experience with Shockblade Qiyana surprised me honestly. It's purely cosmetic but the visual clarity gives it an edge in ranked. And for Qiyana mains who already own True Damage, this offers a nice change of pace without sacrificing gameplay feel.
