Resistance Yorick

After grinding 50 games with Resistance Yorick this past month, I'm convinced this is the sleekest skin in his entire collection. The industrial aesthetic completely transforms how the champion feels to play, and compared to other Yorick skins, this one actually makes last hitting easier with those mechanical sound effects on Q.

The ghouls spawning from W feel way more responsive than base skin, probably because of the cleaner animation when they burst out of that containment field. Your E throws out this satisfying energy orb that's impossible to miss in teamfights, which saved my ass during a baron pit fight yesterday when I needed to mark their fed Vayne through all the chaos. And the Maiden looks absolutely insane with that tech upgrade, though she still gets stuck on walls just like every other skin. Pentakill Yorick might have the cooler theme overall, but Resistance actually helps you play better. The Q bonk has this mechanical clunk that times perfectly with the damage registration, making those cannon minion executes way more consistent.

Is Resistance Yorick worth it at 1350 RP? If you're a Yorick main who plays him regularly, absolutely. This isn't some pay to win advantage that'll make you suddenly pop off, but the visual clarity improvements are real. My experience with Resistance Yorick convinced me to refund Arclight just because this skin makes splitpushing feel so much smoother. The only thing that's kinda cringe but good is how the ghouls look like tiny robots following you around. But when you're taking inhib towers while your team ints at dragon, at least you're doing it in style. Should you buy Resistance Yorick over Meowrick? Unless you really need cat ghouls in your life, Resistance is the better competitive choice.
