Championship Riven feels like playing a completely different champion after putting around 80 games on this skin. The blue particles and smoother animation cancels actually make my combos feel more responsive compared to base Riven, and I'm hitting the fast Q combo way more consistently now.
The Q animation on Championship is probably the cleanest of all her skins. Each slash has this crisp blue trail that makes spacing easier in lane trades, especially when you're trying to weave autos between Qs. Her E shield looks thicker visually which helps me track when it's about to expire during tower dives. And the ult activation is insane with that crown appearing above her head. Just yesterday I was getting zoned off dragon by their fed Jinx, but once I popped ult with Championship the whole teamfight turned. Something about those glowing effects makes enemies respect your engage more, giving you that split second advantage to land your combo.
Battle Bunny might be more popular but Championship Riven's cleaner hitbox indicators actually help you CS better under tower. The sword glow during ult makes your R2 wind slash way easier to aim compared to other Riven skins where the projectile blends into teamfights. It's definitely not pay to win but the visual clarity gives you a slight edge when you're learning her mechanics.
Is Championship Riven worth it? If you're serious about maining her, this skin compared to other Riven skins offers the best mix of clean animations and intimidation factor. The exclusive availability makes it even better since you can't just grab it whenever. My experience with Championship Riven convinced me to OTP her this season.
