PsyOps Sona

Got PsyOps Sona from a chest last week and wasn't expecting much since I usually run DJ Sona exclusively. After about 35 games though, this skin completely changed my mind about what a good Sona skin needs. The cyber aesthetic hits different when you're popping off in teamfights, and the VFX actually help me land abilities better than most of her other skins.

The Q feels way more responsive compared to base Sona or even Arcade. There's this clean projectile trail that makes it super obvious when you're in range to poke, and the aura effect doesn't clutter up minion waves when you're trying to CS for your support item. Her W has this subtle pulse animation that makes timing shields feel smoother, especially during those chaotic dragon fights where everyone's healthbars are jumping around. But the real game changer is her ult. I swear the hitbox visualization is clearer than any other skin she has. Last night I caught three people with a flash ult near baron pit because I could actually judge the width properly, something I'd probably miss on Pentakill or Sweetheart.

Is PsyOps Sona worth it compared to other Sona skins? For an Epic tier skin, absolutely. The animations don't feel clunky like some of her older skins, and while it's not pay to win, that ult clarity genuinely helps in ranked. My experience with PsyOps Sona convinced me it's worth the 1820 RP if you play her regularly. DJ Sona still has more features obviously, but for less than half the price, PsyOps delivers where it counts. Definitely grab it if you main support and want something that looks good without being distracting.
