Primordian Rek’Sai

Final City built its barricades high, protecting its citizens from countless Primordian threats. Rek'Sai laughs in the face of these obstructions—or at least mimics a laugh in the form of a loud, painful screech. Having evolved to tunnel beneath land, she is the ideal infiltrator, the first Primordian to lay eyes on Final City… but certainly not the last.

After 70 games with Primordian Rek'Sai, I'm convinced this is the cleanest version of our void queen yet. Got it from a chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I already main with Eternum, but this skin completely changed how I approach certain matchups.

The Q tunnels feel way more responsive than base skin, and your W tremor sense actually gives clearer enemy outlines through the prehistoric filter. But what really sells it is the ult animation. Where Eternum can feel clunky when you're trying to cancel out of a bad engage, Primordian's smoother cancel frames saved me from inting at least three times during a baron fight yesterday. Enemy Graves flashed over the pit wall and I could instantly redirect without that weird animation lock you get on Pool Party. The E bite also has this satisfying crunch that makes last hitting raptors feel less tedious, though that's probably just me being weird about sound effects.

Compared to other Rek'Sai skins, Primordian sits right between Eternum's try hard vibes and Pool Party's tilt factor. It's purely cosmetic advantage wise, but the prehistoric theme actually helps in river fights since your model blends better with the terrain. Worth the 1350 RP? Maybe if you're already committed to the champ. The recall is insane with that whole fossil transformation thing, and your team will definitely notice when you pop off with a triple kill looking like an actual apex predator.

For anyone wondering if Primordian Rek'Sai is worth it over Eternum, I'd say grab it if you want something fresh without sacrificing clarity. Just don't expect it to fix your terrible macro like I initially hoped.
