After 70 games with Prestige T1 Jayce, I'm convinced this skin changes how you approach teamfights entirely. Got it from a chest last month and wasn't expecting much since I usually run Forsaken Jayce, but the visual clarity on this prestige version actually makes a difference when you're trying to land those max range shock blasts through minion waves.
The Q feels way more responsive compared to other Jayce skins, especially when you're doing the quick E+Q combo. Where Forsaken sometimes feels sluggish with the gate placement, Prestige T1 has this smoother cancel that lets you reposition faster after poking. His hammer form W looks cleaner too, making it easier to track your attack speed steroid timing. Just yesterday I was defending our inhib turret 1v3 and the clearer animations helped me weave autos between abilities without accidentally cancelling them. Probably saved the game right there since we ended up winning the next dragon fight and closed it out.
Compared to base Jayce or even Battle Academia, this skin is worth the exclusive status if you can snag it. The ranged E knockback has better visibility so enemies can actually tell when they're about to get smacked, which sounds bad but honestly helps with mind games when they start respecting your space more. It's not exactly pay to win, but I think the cleaner animations give you maybe a 5% edge in those clutch moments where every frame counts.
Is Prestige T1 Jayce worth it? For anyone who plays him regularly, absolutely. But if you're just collecting skins and play him once a month, you're better off with Forsaken or waiting for something new.
