Prestige PROJECT: Irelia

There are moments when Irelia and the other outcasts remember who they once were, before PROJECT exiled them into a wasteland filled with sand-blasted monuments to corporate greed. These memories are fleeting, the last flickering images of a long-compromised humanity.

PROJECT skins usually feel too flashy for me but Prestige PROJECT: Irelia hits different after spamming her for 90 games straight. The golden accents and cyberpunk vibe actually make tracking your Q resets easier during chaotic teamfights, which I didn't expect from what's basically a glorified chroma.

The Q dash feels more responsive compared to base Irelia and even Divine Sword. There's something about the animation that makes resetting on minions feel buttery smooth when you're trying to CS under tower. Her E placement has this subtle holographic effect that makes it easier to judge the stun zone, especially when you're throwing it into river bushes. And the ult projectile stands out way better in messy dragon fights. I remember this one game where we were contesting soul, enemy team stacked in pit, and I could perfectly track my ult through all the ability spam to hit their backline. Probably wouldn't have landed it with High Noon's darker blades.

But here's what tilted me initially. The recall animation is insane but takes forever, so you're basically committing to the full channel every time. Compared to other Irelia skins like Infiltrator which feels clean and minimal, this one's definitely more about the flex than any real advantage. The exclusive nature means you're paying for prestige points or grinding events, which isn't worth it unless you're already an Irelia main. Is Prestige PROJECT: Irelia worth it? For one tricks who want every skin, sure. Everyone else should grab Divine Sword instead. The visual clarity is nice but not game changing enough to justify the investment when cheaper options exist.
