After 90+ games with Prestige PROJECT: Irelia (2022), I'm ready to share my experience with this exclusive skin that completely changed how I approach teamfights. As someone who owns most Irelia skins, this one hits different when you're trying to carry.
The Q resets feel insanely smooth compared to base or even Divine Sword. There's something about the golden trail that makes tracking your dashes through minion waves easier, especially when you're setting up that perfect engage. Her E placement has cleaner visuals that actually help in clutch moments. Last night during a baron fight, I landed a three man stun that I probably would've mistimed on Infiltrator because the projectile clarity is just better. The ult feels more responsive too, with that satisfying PROJECT sound that lets you know exactly when your blades connect.
But it's not all perfect. Compared to High Noon, which remains my tryhard skin, this Prestige version can feel a bit flashy when you're trying to stay low profile in lane. The golden effects are gorgeous but they definitely announce your presence. That said, the smoother animation cancels on her W make those tower dives feel less clunky, and I've noticed I'm CSing better simply because the auto attack animation flows naturally.
Is Prestige PROJECT: Irelia (2022) worth it compared to other Irelia skins? For serious Irelia players, absolutely. It's not pay to win but the technical improvements are noticeable once you've put in enough games. The exclusive nature means you're flexing while getting legitimate gameplay benefits. If you main her and can still grab this skin, don't hesitate. It's become my go to whenever I need to pop off and carry.
