Grabbed Praetorian Graves from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Pool Party. After about 35 games though, this skin completely changed how I approach teamfights.
The Q feels way more responsive than base Graves and even Crime City. You know that split second delay when you're trying to burst someone down near a wall? Praetorian's Q bounces back so clean it's probably saved me from inting at least five times already. The auto attack animations are smoother too, making it easier to weave them between abilities when you're fed. But what really sold me was using R during a dragon fight yesterday. Enemy jungler tried to steal and I ulted him over the pit wall. The knockback visual is so clear that my support instantly knew to flash follow for the kill. Compare that to Sentinel where the ult sometimes feels like it disappears into the ground.
Is Praetorian Graves worth it compared to other Graves skins? For 1350 RP it's actually insane value. The W smoke screen has this digital effect that makes it easier to see the edges, which matters when you're trying to blind the enemy ADC in lane. Pool Party still has the best recall animation but Praetorian beats it for actual gameplay clarity. Not quite pay to win but definitely gives you an edge in messy fights where every frame counts.
My experience with Praetorian Graves convinced me to grab the whole set. If you're a Graves main who values clean animations over flashy effects, this skin will make you pop off harder. Maybe wait for a sale if you're not grinding ranked but otherwise it's worth every RP.
