After spamming 70 games with Porcelain Irelia this patch, I can honestly say this skin hits different compared to other Irelia skins. The whole porcelain aesthetic might seem fragile but the animations feel insanely crisp, especially when you're trying to land those clutch Q resets in teamfights. Coming from Divine Sword which I used for literally two years straight, this one just feels more responsive somehow.
The Q dash has this satisfying shatter effect that makes CSing way more enjoyable, and I swear the animation feels cleaner than base skin. Her E placement is probably the biggest improvement though, with these blue ceramic markers that pop against any terrain. Lost count of how many times I've landed stuns I would've whiffed on other skins. But what really sold me was during a baron fight yesterday where I needed to ult through their entire backline. The porcelain blades are so distinct against the purple pit that I could track every mark perfectly while their Yasuo was windwalling everything. Ended up getting a triple and we won off that play.
Compared to Infiltrator or even PROJECT, Porcelain Irelia review comes down to clarity over flashiness. The W damage reduction has this ceramic shield effect that's super obvious to both you and enemies, which some might call pay to lose but I think it's worth the trade off. At 1350 RP it's not breaking the bank either, especially considering how smooth the recall animation flows into your next play.
Is Porcelain Irelia worth it? If you're an Irelia main who values clean visuals over particle spam, absolutely grab it. The skin won't make you mechanically better but it definitely won't tilt you with clunky animations either.
