Pool Party Taliyah

Getting Pool Party Taliyah from a chest was probably the best RNG I've had all season. After 50 games with it, I can honestly say this skin completely changed how I play her compared to base and Freljord. The Q feels way smoother with those water balloons replacing rocks, and the visual clarity is actually insane for tracking your worked ground in teamfights.

The W has this satisfying splash effect that makes landing combos feel more responsive than any other Taliyah skin. During a baron fight yesterday, I could instantly see where my worked ground zones were thanks to the beach towel markers, letting me reposition perfectly for a three man ult that won us the game. Her E drops these beach balls that are somehow easier to track in chaotic fights than the standard rocks. And that ult turning into a massive wave? The hitbox feels cleaner and enemies seem to respect it more, maybe because the visual matches the actual wall size better.

Compared to other Taliyah skins, Pool Party wins on pure functionality. SSG has better sound effects but Pool Party's animations are less clunky when you need to cancel abilities fast. The skin is worth the 1350 RP if you're planning to main her, though it's definitely not pay to win since experienced players will still dodge your stuff. But for learning her mechanics or if you already have 100k mastery points, the clearer visuals make those clutch plays more consistent.

Is Pool Party Taliyah worth it? If you play her regularly, absolutely. The improved clarity alone makes climbing with her less tilting, and pulling off those game winning ults just feels better when you're surfing a giant wave instead of a boring rock wall.
