Pentakill Olaf

Picked this up from a chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Brolaf or SKT T1. After about 40 games though, Pentakill Olaf has become my go-to when I need to pop off in ranked. The metalhead aesthetic hits different when you're running down their ADC with axes blazing.

The Q throw feels way more responsive than base skin, and I swear the axe pickup animation is cleaner which helps with those crucial resets during teamfights. His W activation has this sick guitar riff that actually helps me time my all-ins better, weird as that sounds. But the real difference is his ult animation where he goes full berserker mode with lightning effects everywhere. Yesterday I tower dove their fed Vayne at level 6 and the ult clarity made it easier to track my movement through her condemn attempt. She probably tilted after that one.

Compared to other Olaf skins like Dragonslayer, Pentakill feels less clunky overall. The model isn't as bulky so CSing feels smoother in lane, and the darker color scheme actually helps in river fights where you blend in better near dragon pit. Is Pentakill Olaf worth it? For 975 RP it's not breaking the bank, and you're getting solid visual clarity without any pay-to-win advantages. The skin aged pretty well considering it's from the original Pentakill line.

My experience with Pentakill Olaf convinced me to grab the rest of the band skins during the last sale. If you're an Olaf main looking for something between the budget skins and expensive legendaries, this one delivers. Just maybe mute the recall music after your hundredth game because that gets old fast.
