After 120 games with Pentakill III: Lost Chapter Sona, I'm completely sold on why this skin hits different compared to other Sona skins. The metal aesthetic isn't just for show, it actually makes my gameplay feel more aggressive and confident, especially when I'm looking to pop off in teamfights.

The Q powerchord feels absolutely insane with that guitar riff sound effect. You know that satisfying crunch when you land it? Way more noticeable than DJ Sona's electronic beats. Her W aura has this subtle red glow that's easier to track in messy fights, and the ult animation is probably the cleanest she's got. Just yesterday I caught three people at dragon pit because the ult's visual clarity helped me line up the angle perfectly through fog of war. The smoother animation cancel on her passive makes trading in lane feel more responsive too.

Compared to my previous favorite Odyssey Sona, this one's worth the 975 RP if you're into the metal theme. It's not pay-to-win but there's something about the darker effects that makes enemies respect your presence more. Maybe it's psychological but I swear people back off when they see the Pentakill auras charging up. And that recall where she shreds on the etherial is pure chef's kiss material.

Is Pentakill III: Lost Chapter Sona worth it for support mains? If you play her regularly, absolutely grab it. The visual improvements alone make tracking your abilities in chaotic fights easier, and you'll never get tilted by unclear powerchord animations again. But if you're just collecting skins, wait for a sale unless you're really into the Pentakill aesthetic.
