Papercraft Nunu & Willump caught me completely off guard when I got it from a hextech chest last month. After around 50 games with it, I'm actually shocked how clean this skin feels compared to base Nunu.
The Q chomp animation feels way more responsive than standard, and I swear the snowball W has clearer edges that help me judge the hitbox better when I'm trying to clip enemies at max range. But what really sells this skin is the ult channel. The papercraft tornado effect is so much easier to track in teamfights compared to something like Zombie Nunu where everything gets muddy. Just yesterday in a dragon fight, I managed to hide my ult channel behind dragon pit wall and the enemy team walked right into it because the initial windup is super subtle. Three man ult into dragon steal, absolutely worth.
Space Groove Nunu might have better music and effects, but Papercraft edges it out for clarity. The E snowballs are probably the weakest part since they look a bit flat, but honestly who cares when your W and ult feel this smooth. And the recall where Willump folds into origami is just insane attention to detail. For 1350 RP this skin delivers way more than expected.
Is Papercraft Nunu & Willump worth it? If you're a jungle main who plays Nunu even occasionally, this is the skin to get. It's not quite pay to win, but the visual clarity on abilities definitely helps in chaotic fights. My experience with Papercraft Nunu & Willump convinced me to actually main the champ again. Maybe wait for Your Shop discount if you're patient, but full price isn't a bad deal either.
