Omega Squad Veigar

Been spamming Omega Squad Veigar for about 80 games now after getting it from a chest, and honestly this skin completely changed how I play the yordle. The military theme isn't just cosmetic fluff, it actually makes last hitting feel more responsive compared to base skin. That Q animation has this crisp sound effect that helps me time CS better, especially under tower when every minion matters.

The cage is where this skin really shines though. Normal Veigar's E can be kinda hard to track in messy teamfights, but Omega Squad's green military barrier stands out perfectly. Just yesterday in a dragon fight, I caught their fed Katarina because she couldn't see my cage dropping behind the pit wall with all the ability spam happening. And the W meteor? Instead of that purple cosmic thing, you get this satisfying airstrike marker that makes it way easier to layer with your stun. The ult probably feels the smoothest of all abilities, with cleaner animation canceling that lets you Q right after without that awkward delay.

Compared to Final Boss Veigar which I used to main, Omega Squad feels less cluttered visually. Final Boss is fun with all the arcade effects but sometimes it's just too much, especially when you're trying to focus. Is Omega Squad Veigar worth it compared to other Veigar skins? For 1350 RP I'd say absolutely, especially if you're grinding ranked. It's not quite pay to win but the visual clarity definitely gives you an edge in hectic situations. My only gripe is the recall takes forever, but you're usually backing after getting kills anyway so who cares. If you're a Veigar main looking for something practical over flashy, this is your skin.
