Odyssey Twisted Fate

A space smuggler erroneously known for discretion, as well as his impractically famous ship, The Wildcard, Twisted Fate was hired by Karma to free some templars from some space pirates. He has only just begun to notice that the other mercs on the job are better known for wetwork than simple heists...

After 50 games with Odyssey Twisted Fate, I'm completely sold on this skin being worth the 1350 RP price. Coming from someone who owns PAX, Underworld, and High Noon TF, this one hits different in all the right ways.

The Q cards feel incredibly smooth compared to other Twisted Fate skins, with cleaner animation cancels that actually make a difference when you're trying to poke and CS simultaneously. Your gold card stands out way better in teamfights too, which sounds minor but I can't count how many times the visual clarity helped me lock down the right target during chaotic dragon fights. And the ult is just insane with that space warp effect. Last night I ulted behind their fed Jinx at baron pit and the teleport animation was so clean I could instantly gold card into Q without that weird delay you sometimes get on base skin.

But here's what really got me tilted at first then loving it later. The W card shuffle has this sci-fi sound that's actually louder and more distinct than High Noon's mechanical clicks. At first I thought enemies could track my picks better, but after around game 30 I realized it was helping ME track my own rotation better, especially when I'm kiting backwards and can't watch the cards as closely. The auto attack projectiles are probably the smoothest I've felt on any TF skin, making those early trades feel more responsive.

Is Odyssey Twisted Fate worth it for mains? Absolutely. It's not pay to win but the visual clarity gives you tiny advantages that add up over time. My experience with Odyssey Twisted Fate convinced me to refund Pulsefire and I haven't looked back since.
