Monster Tamer Veigar

Got Monster Tamer Veigar from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I mainly rock Final Boss. After about 35 games though, this skin completely changed how I play the tiny master of evil. The whole pokemon trainer vibe hits different when you're stacking AP and watching your little creatures grow stronger alongside you.

The Q feels way more responsive than base Veigar, especially when last hitting under tower. Your W summons this adorable creature that drops from the sky, and while it's cute as hell, the clarity is actually insane for tracking multiple cages in teamfights. But the real game changer is the E animation. The cage forms with these monster portals that are somehow easier to see in river fights than any other skin I own. Just yesterday I caught three people near dragon pit because they probably didn't respect how visible the cage edges are, even with all the chaos happening. The ult sends out this massive creature that literally eats champions, and you can actually tell when it's going to execute someone better than Final Boss or Omega Squad.

Compared to other Veigar skins, Monster Tamer sits somewhere between fun and functional. Final Boss still has the best sound effects, but Monster Tamer's animations are cleaner for sure. The recall where you're training your creatures is adorable, though it takes forever so you'll probably cancel it most games. Is Monster Tamer Veigar worth it at 1350 RP? If you're a Veigar main who wants something fresh that doesn't sacrifice clarity, absolutely. It's not pay to win, but those clearer animations might help you land a few more cages when it counts.
