Mecha Kha'Zix completely changed how I approach assassinating squishies after grabbing it from a mystery chest last month. Been spamming around 40 games with it and honestly, the skin makes certain combos feel way more responsive than base Kha'Zix ever did.
The evolved Q animation is insane for clarity when you're trying to maximize isolated damage. Last night I was contesting dragon against their fed ADC and the mechanical transformation when I popped R made it so easy to track my invis timer compared to other Kha'Zix skins. But what really sold me is how the W feels less clunky than something like Guardian of the Sands. The projectile is super clear and I've been landing way more poke in lane because I can actually tell where the hitbox ends. And the jump on E just feels smoother somehow, probably because of how the jets fire during the animation.
Is Mecha Kha'Zix worth it compared to Dark Star though? That's tough. Dark Star has that sick ult sound but Mecha's cleaner animations give you a slight edge in teamfights. The recall is pretty cringe but good with all the transforming parts. My experience with Mecha Kha'Zix has been mostly positive except for one thing. The skin is definitely not pay to win but the evolved R stealth shimmer might be slightly harder for enemies to spot than base skin.
For anyone wondering if they should buy Mecha Kha'Zix, I'd say grab it if you main him or want something that feels mechanically tight. Worth the 1350 RP if you're gonna actually play the champ, but Dark Star is still the cooler looking option if you just want style points.
