Masque of the Black Rose Ezreal

Been spamming this skin for about 50 games now after getting it from a chest, and honestly it's become my go-to over Battle Academia. The Masque of the Black Rose aesthetic hits different when you're popping off in teamfights, especially with how the Q feels snappier than most other Ezreal skins. Something about the visual feedback just makes last hitting feel cleaner too.

The W animation is probably the biggest improvement compared to other Ezreal skins. Where Pulsefire feels clunky and base skin's W can get lost in minion waves, this one has perfect visibility without being obnoxious. Had a dragon fight yesterday where I landed three Ws in a row through the chaos because the projectile stands out just enough. And the ult? Actually insane how the barrage looks when you're sniping someone recalling. The red effects make it easier to track where your damage is going compared to something like Frosted where everything blends into Howling Abyss.

Is Masque of the Black Rose Ezreal worth it though? For 1350 RP it's not breaking the bank but it's not cheap either. The smoother animation cancels alone make it feel less cosmetic and more like a slight advantage, especially when you're trying to weave autos between abilities. Not quite pay-to-win but definitely pay-to-feel-better-about-your-mechanics. My experience with Masque of the Black Rose Ezreal has been surprisingly positive for a skin I never planned to own. If you're an ADC main who plays Ez regularly, this one's actually worth considering over the flashier legendary options.
