Marauder Warwick

Been maining Warwick since season 8 and finally grabbed Marauder during the last sale after watching it dominate in my ranked games. After around 55 games with this skin, I'm honestly impressed by how much cleaner the animations feel compared to other Warwick skins, especially when you're trying to maximize your clear speed.

The Q feels way more responsive than base skin, and the bite animation doesn't have that weird delay that sometimes makes you miss CS under tower. Your W blood trail is actually easier to track in river fights, which saved me countless times when I'm hunting down that fed ADC trying to recall behind dragon pit. But what really sold me was the ult animation being less clunky than Hyena or even PROJECT. Last night I dove a Caitlyn under her tier 2 tower and the R connected perfectly through her net, something I probably would've whiffed on Grey Warwick because of the visual noise. The E activation has this satisfying armor effect that makes timing your damage reduction feel more intuitive, though maybe that's just placebo after playing so many games.

Compared to other Warwick skins like Lunar Guardian, Marauder feels purely cosmetic rather than pay-to-win, but the visual clarity is definitely worth the 750 RP if you're serious about climbing with the wolf. The recall animation where he sharpens his claws is pretty sick too, though you'll rarely see it if you're constantly ganking like you should be.

For any Warwick enthusiasts wondering "is Marauder Warwick worth it?" I'd say grab it next time it's available. The skin aged surprisingly well and still feels premium despite being older than most of my teammates' accounts.
