Jade Dragon Wukong caught me completely off guard when I pulled it from a chest last month. After spamming around 55 games with it, I'm honestly shocked how much better it feels compared to other Wukong skins, especially since I wasn't planning on using anything besides Radiant.
The Q feels way more responsive than base skin, and the jade effects make it super clear when you're autoing versus using your empowered strike. But the real difference is his clone on W. The jade shimmer when you stealth makes it easier to track yourself in teamfights, which sounds bad but actually helped me pull off cleaner escapes. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to juke three people because the animation cancel on E into ult felt smoother than usual. Maybe I'm imagining it, but the staff spin just connects better. Compared to Radiant Wukong, which I mained for two years, Jade Dragon's ult hitbox feels more accurate to what you're seeing on screen.
Is Jade Dragon Wukong worth it? For 975 RP it's probably not pay-to-win, but there's definitely a clarity advantage. The green effects make your combos easier to track without being distracting, and enemies seem to have a harder time telling when you've used clone versus just walking away. My experience with Jade Dragon Wukong convinced me it's worth keeping over Radiant.
If you're a Wukong main who wants every edge possible, grab it. The technical improvements alone make it better than most of his catalog, and you won't tilt yourself trying to figure out if your Q went off in messy fights anymore.
