Been maining Shyvana for three seasons now with over 500k mastery points, and Ice Drake is hands down the cleanest skin in her collection. After spamming around 150 games with it, I can confidently say this one's become my go to over Ruined and Championship.
The E fireball feels way more responsive compared to base skin, especially when you're trying to land those max range pokes in lane. Her dragon form Q has this satisfying crunch that makes CSing feel smoother, and the ult transformation actually feels faster even though it's probably just the animation making it seem that way. What really sold me was during a baron fight last week where I needed to ult over the pit wall for a steal. The hitbox clarity on Ice Drake made it so much easier to judge the distance compared to something like Super Galaxy where the particles are everywhere. And the passive burn effect looks clean without cluttering up teamfights, which is huge when you're trying to track who's getting melted by your W.
Compared to other Shyvana skins like Darkflame or Boneclaw, Ice Drake just feels less clunky overall. The auto attack animations flow better, making those early game trades feel worth going for. It's definitely more cosmetic than pay to win, but the visual clarity alone makes it worth the 975 RP if you're serious about climbing with her.
Is Ice Drake Shyvana worth it? If you're planning to put serious games into her, absolutely grab it. The skin aged really well since release and still looks better than most of her newer options. My experience with Ice Drake Shyvana convinced me to refund Championship for the RP back, and I haven't regretted it once.
