Getting Hyena Warwick from a mystery chest last month was probably the best RNG I've had all season. After 55 games with it, I can honestly say this skin completely changed how I play the champion. The laugh spam alone tilts enemies harder than any other Warwick skin, but there's actually some solid gameplay benefits hiding under that goofy exterior.
The Q animation feels way smoother compared to base Warwick, making those clutch heals during tower dives more reliable. Your W blood trail is easier to track with the purple effect, and I've noticed I'm landing more successful ganks because of it. But the real game changer is the ult. That hyena leap has a cleaner animation that makes it easier to judge the hitbox, especially when you're trying to snipe someone through minions. Just yesterday I caught their fed ADC trying to recall behind dragon pit because the visual clarity let me thread my ult perfectly between two teammates. On PROJECT Warwick that same play would've been a coinflip.
Is Hyena Warwick worth it? Absolutely, especially if you can snag it on sale or through hextech. Compared to other Warwick skins, it strikes the perfect balance between being visually distinct without feeling clunky like Firefang or overwhelming like PROJECT. The audio cues are crisp enough that you'll never miss a blood hunt proc, and teammates seem to follow up on your engages better when you're a cackling madman instead of a generic wolf. It's purely cosmetic, no pay to win advantages, but the psychological warfare from that laugh is insane. Every Warwick main should grab this when they can.
