Bought this skin after watching Dzukill absolutely demolish with it on stream and honestly, my experience with HEARTSTEEL Yone has been pretty wild after around 70 games. The skin feels way smoother than Spirit Blossom when you're weaving autos between Q stacks, and that cleaner animation actually helped me secure more kills in lane trades where every frame counts.
The E soul unbound looks sick with the purple trail but more importantly, it's easier to track where your body is during teamfights. Last night I was getting ganked under tower and the E return timing felt more responsive compared to base skin, letting me dodge the Elise cocoon by a pixel before snapping back. And the ult? That bass drop when you hit multiple enemies is insane, plus the hitbox visibility makes it harder for enemies to sidestep at max range. Battle Academia Yone still has the cleanest Q3 tornado in my opinion, but HEARTSTEEL's version travels with this subtle glow that I've noticed helps me land it more consistently when I'm fed and trying to catch their ADC rotating to dragon.
Is HEARTSTEEL Yone worth it compared to other Yone skins? It's purely cosmetic but the animations genuinely feel less clunky than his older skins. The recall with him playing guitar is probably the best in his collection too. For 1350 RP it's not breaking the bank, and if you're already decent at Yone, this skin won't make you int less but it might help you pop off more often. I'd recommend grabbing it if you main him or just want that boyband aesthetic while you're farming CS.
