General Wukong

Getting this skin from a mystery chest last month was probably the best RNG I've had all season. After around 55 games with General Wukong, I'm actually shocked how much cleaner the animations feel compared to base Wukong, especially on his Q auto reset.

The E dash feels way more responsive than base skin, and you can actually cancel the W clone animation faster when you need to juke. I noticed this most during a baron fight where I managed to dodge three skillshots in a row just because the clone deploy doesn't have that weird delay. His ult spins look crisp too, though the sound effect is quieter which threw me off at first. Compared to other Wukong skins like Radiant or Jade Dragon, General lacks the flashy particles but makes up for it with clarity. You can actually see when your Q empowered auto is ready without squinting at your staff.

Is General Wukong worth it if you're buying? For 750 RP it's decent value, nothing insane but solid. The skin aged surprisingly well for something this old, and while it won't make you pop off harder, the smoother animations definitely help with combos. My experience with General Wukong convinced me it's slightly pay to win just because of how the E dash registers faster visually. But compared to other Wukong skins, you're not missing much if you skip it. I'd recommend it for Wukong mains who want consistency over flashiness, or if you catch it on sale. Otherwise Radiant gives you more bang for your buck with better effects while keeping similar animation quality.
