Getting Feral Warwick from a mystery chest was honestly the best RNG I've had all season. After 55 games with it, I can confidently say this skin hits different compared to other Warwick skins, especially when you're used to playing with Project or Hyena. The whole primal vibe actually makes me play more aggressive, and I'm not even joking about that psychological effect.
The Q feels way smoother than base Warwick, with a cleaner animation that makes it easier to time your sustain in extended fights. His W blood trail is probably the biggest upgrade though, with better visibility that genuinely helps tracking enemies through jungle fog. And the ult? Man, that leap animation is so responsive compared to Grey Warwick which I mained before. Just yesterday I was contesting dragon against a fed Kayn, and the split second difference in my ult animation let me lock him down before his team could react. We ended up winning that teamfight and the game went from a potential ff to a comeback.
Is Feral Warwick worth it if you're thinking about buying? For 975 RP it's actually solid value, especially if you're a jungle main who plays him regularly. The skin isn't pay-to-win or anything, but those cleaner animations do make a difference when you're trying to pop off. My experience with Feral Warwick convinced me to stop sleeping on these older skins. They might not have all the flashy effects of newer releases, but sometimes that simplicity is exactly what you need to focus on your mechanics. If you already own Lunar Guardian though, maybe save your RP unless you really vibe with the savage aesthetic.
