DRX Caitlyn

Picked up DRX Caitlyn from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm usually running Battle Academia or Pulsefire. After about 35 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would.

The auto attacks feel incredibly smooth compared to base Caitlyn, and there's something about the Q animation that makes it easier to weave between CS. Her E net has this cleaner animation that actually helped me escape a nasty 3v1 tower dive yesterday when their Zed was fed out of his mind. The trap placement feels more responsive too, probably just the visual feedback but I've been landing way more sneaky bushwhack combos. What really surprised me is how clear the ult targeting is. You know how sometimes with Arcade Caitlyn the ult channel can feel a bit cluttered? DRX keeps it clean, which matters when you're trying to snipe their ADC in a messy dragon fight.

Compared to other Caitlyn skins like Lunar Wraith, this one's definitely more subdued but that's not necessarily bad. The recall animation is simple but the trophy flex is actually pretty sick. Is DRX Caitlyn worth it if you're buying with RP? At 1350 it's not cheap, but if you play a lot of Caitlyn it's solid value. The skin isn't pay-to-win or anything, but those cleaner animations do make a difference when you're trying to pop off in lane.

My experience with DRX Caitlyn has been surprisingly positive. If you main Caitlyn and want something that feels smooth without being too flashy, this is actually a great pickup. Maybe wait for Your Shop if you're not in a rush though.
