Dissonance of Pentakill Viego

After hitting 500k mastery on Viego last month, I thought I'd seen everything this champ had to offer until I grabbed Dissonance of Pentakill from a chest. Honestly wasn't expecting much since I already main with Lunar Beast, but this skin completely changed how I approach teamfights.

The Q feels way smoother to cancel into autos compared to other Viego skins, especially noticeable when you're trying to CS under tower pressure. His W actually has clearer hitbox indicators that make it easier to judge max range stuns, which saved me countless times in river skirmishes. But the real difference is the ult animation. Where base Viego sometimes feels clunky going into possession, Dissonance flows like butter. I remember this one dragon fight where I ulted their fed Jinx and the transition was so clean I managed to get her passive reset immediately and pop off for a pentakill. The possession clouds are darker too, making it harder for enemies to track you in chaotic fights.

Comparing it to Lunar Beast, which I've played probably 300+ games on, Dissonance actually gives you a slight edge. The darker color palette blends better with river and jungle terrain, and the metal aesthetic makes his model smaller visually even though the hitbox is identical. Is Dissonance of Pentakill Viego worth it? For 1350 RP, absolutely. It's not quite pay to win, but the visual clarity improvements definitely help in ranked. My experience with Dissonance of Pentakill Viego convinced me to switch from Lunar Beast as my main skin.
