Got Dawnbringer Vex from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm usually running the base skin. After about 35 games though, this skin completely changed how I feel playing her. The golden aesthetic hits different when you're popping off in teamfights, and there's something about the light particles that makes landing Q pokes feel way more satisfying than they should.
The biggest difference is how her W shield looks and feels in practice. Base Vex has that dark purple bubble but Dawnbringer gives you this bright golden barrier that's somehow easier to track in messy fights. Her E projectile has cleaner animation frames too, making it simpler to judge when enemies are about to get feared. But the real game changer is her ult. I was defending mid inhib tower against a fed Yasuo yesterday and the golden trail from my R made it super obvious where I'd land, helping my jungler position perfectly for the follow up. That visibility alone probably won us the game since we turned it into baron right after.
Compared to other Vex skins like Space Groove, Dawnbringer feels more responsive overall. The auto attacks chain smoother when you're trying to CS under tower, and ability cancels don't feel as clunky. Is Dawnbringer Vex worth it though? For 1350 RP it's definitely on the pricier side, but if you're a Vex main who wants both style points and slight gameplay advantages, you won't regret it. This isn't pay to win by any means, but the visual clarity improvements make those clutch plays just a bit easier to pull off consistently.
