Dark Star Yorick

Saved up for two months straight and finally grabbed Dark Star Yorick during the last sale, and after 70 games I can honestly say this is the skin that made me actually enjoy playing the champion again. The cosmic horror vibe completely transforms how intimidating you feel in lane, especially when your ghouls spawn looking like tiny void creatures instead of the usual zombies.

The Q feels way smoother compared to base skin, with a cleaner animation that makes last hitting under tower actually manageable. Your W cage probably has the biggest visual upgrade though, turning into this sick purple prison that enemies seem to respect more in teamfights. And the maiden transformation is insane, she floats around like some cosmic entity that genuinely makes people second guess diving you. During a baron fight yesterday, the enemy Vayne literally flashed away from my ult because she couldn't tell if it was my maiden or some fed Viego coming through the wall. The visual clarity is actually worse for enemies which gives you this weird psychological advantage.

Compared to other Yorick skins like Pentakill or Arclight, Dark Star just hits different. Pentakill feels clunky after playing with this one, and while Arclight has better spell visibility for you, Dark Star Yorick makes enemies tilt harder when they're getting run down by space ghouls. Is Dark Star Yorick worth it at 1350 RP? If you're planning to main him or already have 50+ games, absolutely. But if you're just picking him up occasionally, maybe wait for a sale like I did. The skin won't make you better at split pushing, but it'll definitely make you feel cooler doing it.
