Coven Nilah

Picked up Coven Nilah from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I main Star Guardian, but after around 35 games I'm actually shocked how much better this skin feels. The whip animations on her Q feel way more responsive than base, especially when you're trying to weave autos between abilities. Star Guardian has that floaty feeling that sometimes makes me miss CS in early game, but Coven just hits different.

The E dash combined with her ult is where this skin really shines though. Had this insane dragon fight yesterday where the enemy team was stacked in pit, and I could actually see my ult radius perfectly through all the chaos. With Star Guardian the sparkles blend into everything but Coven has this dark purple effect that cuts through even when everyone's fed and spamming abilities. My W shield timing improved too because the visual is cleaner, probably saved me from inting at least three times when their Zed tried to pop off on me.

Is Coven Nilah worth it compared to other Nilah skins? If you're buying at 1350 RP it's a bit steep but the clarity alone makes it worth. The recall animation where she summons that demon thing is pretty cringe but good, and her passive circle is way easier to track for your support. Star Guardian Nilah will always be my favorite aesthetically but Coven just plays smoother.

Not quite pay to win but definitely gives you an edge in teamfights. If you're a Nilah main who struggles with visual clarity in late game, this skin fixes that problem. Should you buy Coven Nilah? Maybe wait for a sale unless you're tilted by Star Guardian's animations like I was getting.
