Coven Evelynn

Been maining Evelynn for three seasons now with around 500k mastery points, and Coven might actually be her best skin yet. After spamming 90+ games with it this patch, I can confidently say this one hits different compared to other Evelynn skins, especially if you're serious about climbing.

The Q feels way smoother to cancel compared to base or even K/DA ALL OUT. You know that awkward moment when you're trying to burst the fed ADC near dragon pit but your Q animation locks you in place? Coven fixes that completely. The projectile is cleaner and the animation cancel between Q1 and Q2 flows perfectly, letting you weave in autos without that clunky delay. Her E dash has this purple trail that's actually easier to track in teamfights, which sounds minor but makes a huge difference when you're trying to pop off in messy 5v5s. And the ult? The cast time feels more responsive, probably because the visual wind-up matches the actual channel better than Shadow Evelynn where I always mistime it.

Is Coven Evelynn worth it though? At 1820 RP it's not cheap, but after my experience with Coven Evelynn, I'd say yes if you play her regularly. The skin genuinely helps with clarity during those intense moments where every frame matters. That dragon pit scenario I mentioned earlier? Won three smite fights this week just because I could track my position better in the chaos.

For serious Evelynn players, this is basically pay-to-win disguised as cosmetic. The smoother animations alone will probably net you a few extra kills per game. Just wait for a sale if you're not desperate, but definitely grab it eventually.
