Constable Trundle was sitting in my collection for ages after getting it from a chest, and I finally gave it proper testing after 55 games. The skin completely changes how his animations feel compared to other Trundle skins, especially Traditional which I mained before. His Q bite feels way more responsive than base, probably because the baton swing animation is cleaner than his club movements. The pillar summon actually looks smaller visually even though the hitbox stays the same, which throws people off in lane trades.
Playing this in ranked, I noticed the W zone is insanely clear with those police tape borders. During a baron fight yesterday, my team could actually see where my frozen domain ended without me pinging it, which never happens with Dragonslayer's darker effects. The ult animation when you steal stats shows these blue handcuff particles that make it super obvious who you're draining. But the real difference is his E pillar looks less threatening than the ice version, so enemies don't respect it as much until they're already knocked up.
Is Constable Trundle worth it compared to his other options? For 750 RP it's actually solid value if you want clarity over style. Traditional Trundle still feels smoother for animation cancels, and Worldbreaker definitely looks cooler, but this skin gives you legitimate advantages in teamfights. The visual clarity alone makes it borderline pay to win when you're trying to coordinate with your team. My experience with Constable Trundle convinced me to keep using it in ranked even though I own better looking skins. If you're a Trundle main who values function over aesthetics, grab it next time it's available.
