After getting Bewitching Poppy from a Hextech chest last month, I wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Star Guardian. But 50 games later, this skin completely changed my mind about what a good Poppy skin should feel like.
The Q animation feels way cleaner than most of her other skins, especially compared to base Poppy where the hammer slam sometimes feels delayed. Her W actually gives better visibility during teamfights with that purple swirl effect, which saved me during a nasty dragon fight yesterday when three people tried to dash onto my ADC. The enemy Lee Sin probably thought he could insec, but the spell shield boundary is so clear that I timed it perfectly. And her E wall stun has this satisfying thunk sound that makes you know when you've landed it properly. Battle Regalia might have the prestige factor, but Bewitching just feels more responsive in actual gameplay.
Is Bewitching Poppy worth it? Absolutely, especially if you're tired of the clunkier animations on her older skins. The ult windup is maybe the smoothest across all her skins, and when you're trying to knock away that fed Katarina before she can pop off, every frame matters. It's purely cosmetic advantage, not pay to win, but those small quality improvements add up over hundreds of games.
My experience with Bewitching Poppy convinced me it's her best skin for serious play. Sure, Noxus and Hextech look cool, but when you need to consistently hit those crucial E stuns in lane, this one just performs better. Mains should definitely grab it next time it's in the shop.
