Aviator Irelia

Few war pilots were as skilled as Irelia, whose flashy dogfighting earned her a place among the greatest soldiers in history. After the war she continued to fly fighter planes, never once losing her spark.

Been spamming Aviator Irelia for about 55 games now as an OTP with 500k+ mastery points, and honestly this skin hits different than what most people expect from a 520 RP option. The propeller blades give her Q resets this crisp mechanical feel that's actually cleaner than Divine Sword's flashy particles, and I'm not even kidding.

The biggest difference is probably how her E stuns read in teamfights. During a dragon fight yesterday, I landed a max range stun through three people because the aviation goggles and outfit make her silhouette stand out against the river terrain. Her passive stacks show up as these subtle engine gauges that don't clutter your screen like Infiltrator does. And the W damage reduction has this metal shimmer that's way easier to track than base skin's blue glow. When you're trying to CS under tower while getting poked, that visual clarity actually matters for timing your all ins.

Compared to other Irelia skins I own, Aviator feels more responsive during blade surge combos. The animation cancels are smoother, especially when you're fed and need to pop off in a 1v3. It's purely cosmetic but somehow the propeller theme makes her movement feel lighter. My experience with Aviator Irelia convinced me it's worth keeping over PROJECT which I used to main.

Is Aviator Irelia worth it? For anyone who plays her regularly, absolutely. The skin aged incredibly well for something this old, and at 520 RP you're getting better visual clarity than skins triple the price. Should you buy Aviator Irelia over newer options? If you value clean gameplay over flashy effects, this one's your best bet.
