Astronaut Fizz

Been playing Astronaut Fizz for about 70 games now after grabbing it from a chest, and honestly this skin hits different than I expected. The Q feels way more responsive compared to base Fizz, especially when you're weaving through minions for CS. That little UFO animation on the dash actually helps me track where I'm going better during chaotic teamfights.

The E is where this skin really shines though. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to dodge three ults because the rocket animation is so much clearer than his regular pole vault. You can actually see the hitbox properly when you're untargetable, which makes those clutch plays feel more consistent. And the R? That alien fish traveling through space is probably the easiest skillshot to track out of all his skins. I've been landing way more max range sharks since switching from Cottontail.

Is Astronaut Fizz worth it compared to other Fizz skins? After my experience with Astronaut Fizz, I'd say it's purely cosmetic but in the best way possible. The animations don't give you any real advantage, but they're clean enough that you won't int because of visual clutter like with some of his older skins. The recall where he floats around in zero gravity is actually insane too. My only gripe is that the W doesn't feel as impactful as Fuzz Fizz where you really feel that empowered auto.

For Fizz mains looking to pop off, this skin won't make you better but it won't hold you back either. It's solid if you want something fresh without sacrificing clarity. Maybe wait for Your Shop if you're not in a rush though.
