Been spamming Ashen Conqueror for about 80 games now after grabbing it from a chest, and honestly this skin hits different compared to other Pantheon skins. The Q spear throw feels way more responsive than base skin, especially when you're trying to poke through minions for that last CS before backing. What really caught me off guard was how clean the W shield bash animation is, making it easier to time those clutch blocks against stuff like Jhin's fourth shot or Caitlyn ult.
The E feels insane with the darker particles making it harder for enemies to judge the sweet spot damage zone. I've been winning way more extended trades in lane because people can't tell if they're getting hit by the empowered thrust or not. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to zone three people just by positioning my E at the pit entrance, and I'm pretty sure the visual confusion helped since they hesitated longer than usual. Compare this to Dragonslayer Pantheon where everything's bright red and telegraphed, and you can probably see why I've been getting more kills.
But the ult is where this skin becomes borderline pay to win. The landing indicator blends better with river terrain and dragon pit, making it harder for enemies to react when you're dropping in. Combined with the smoother cancel animation when you need to abort a bad ult, it's definitely giving me an edge in ranked.
Is Ashen Conqueror Pantheon worth it? If you're a Pantheon main who wants every advantage possible, absolutely. The visual clarity improvements alone make it better than Perseus or Pulsefire, though I'd say it's purely cosmetic advantage rather than true pay to win. Still keeping this as my go to skin for climbing.
