Got this skin from a mystery chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually run Hextech or Super Galaxy. After about 40 games though, Annie in Wonderland has become my go to pick when I need to pop off in ranked.
The Q animation feels way smoother than base Annie and even compared to other Annie skins like Frostfire. Landing those last hits for CS is noticeably easier with the card throw animation, and the W cone is probably the clearest I've seen across all her skins. But what really sold me was during a dragon fight where I flashed over the pit wall for a five man Tibbers. The ultimate drop animation with the Cheshire Cat Tibbers is so clean that I could instantly see who got stunned through all the chaos. My team followed up perfectly and we aced them for the win.
Is Annie in Wonderland worth it compared to something like Cafe Cuties? If you're looking for pure clarity in teamfights, absolutely. The stun indicator around enemies is super visible with the playing card effect, and Tibbers himself stands out way better than most skins where he kinda blends into river fights. It's not pay to win exactly, but the cleaner animations definitely help with combos. Only downside is the recall takes forever if you're trying to base quickly after a kill.
For Annie mains who already have a few skins, this one's still worth grabbing when it goes on sale. The visual clarity alone makes it better for climbing than most of her flashier options. Just don't expect it to fix your positioning if you're still learning her.
