Picked up Zombie Slayer Pantheon from a mystery chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually run Dragonslayer. After about 40 games though, this skin completely changed my mind about what a 975 RP skin can deliver.
The Q feels way more responsive than base Pantheon, especially when you're trying to poke through minions in lane. His empowered W has this satisfying chainsaw rev that makes tower dives feel more intense, and the animation actually seems cleaner when canceling into E. But the real difference is his ult. The zombie-themed drop zone is probably easier to see for enemies, which sounds bad, but I've noticed teammates rotate faster because the green glow stands out more in river fights. Lost a crucial dragon fight last week where my jungler said he couldn't tell where my base skin ult was landing through all the ability spam, something that wouldn't happen with this skin.
Compared to other Pantheon skins like Perseus or Glaive Warrior, Zombie Slayer sits in this weird spot where it's not quite pay-to-win but definitely not just cosmetic either. The clearer animations on Q and W genuinely help with timing, and while Dragonslayer Pantheon has better overall effects, this one just feels more consistent. My experience with Zombie Slayer Pantheon has been surprisingly positive for what I thought would be a throwaway skin.
Is Zombie Slayer Pantheon worth it if you're a Panth main? Maybe not if you already own Dragonslayer or Ashen Knight. But if you're looking for something that feels smooth without breaking the bank, this skin delivers more than you'd expect from the Zombies VS Slayers line.
